What Bundledocs does

How the integration works in OrdoLux

1. Select documents from the matter

The fee earner opens the matter workspace in OrdoLux and selects the documents they want to include in the bundle. Because OrdoLux stores all matter documents in SharePoint, the documents are already there — no need to upload them to a separate system.

The fee earner selects the documents and clicks "Create bundle." The documents are passed to Bundledocs within the matter context.

2. Arrange and organise

In the Bundledocs interface (accessed from inside OrdoLux), the fee earner:

• Arranges the documents into sections
• Sets the order within each section
• Adds any missing documents (e.g., a covering index or section dividers)
• Chooses the bundle format (court-specific or custom)

3. Generate the PDF

When the arrangement is complete, the fee earner clicks "Generate." Bundledocs produces a single, hyperlinked, paginated PDF. The generation typically takes seconds to minutes, depending on the size of the bundle.

The generated PDF is filed back to the matter's SharePoint folder automatically. It's not in a separate system — it's in the matter, alongside all the other documents.

4. Share or file

The bundle can be:

• Shared with the court via the court filing system or CE-File
• Shared with opposing counsel (via a secure link or by sending the PDF)
• Shared with the client
• Stored in the matter file for future reference

5. Update when needed

If the court asks for additional documents, or if a document needs to be removed, the fee earner goes back to the Bundledocs interface, makes the change, and regenerates the bundle. The page numbers and hyperlinks update automatically. No manual renumbering.

Why integrated bundles matter
